Reflecting on the week. now ending we gather all that has been and reflecting, rejoicing, repenting and praying for it all, we lay it at the foot of the cross and head for our beds in anticipation of the Eucharist tomorrow and the Presentation.

Holocaust Memorial Day and as we reflect on loss and the cruelty of humanity we also reflect on the acts of good people and the love of a God who takes on flesh that we might be reconciled to God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit).

So many things take on a greater import and sadness when milestones are passed.
Today as the UK death toll passes 100,000 deaths we commit those whose lives have gone to Your Grace, love, care and mercy.
We pray also for them that mourn and for the healing of our world in all its brokeness.
