As darkness falls we rejoice in Your presence with us;
we repent of our failings and forgive the failings of others;
we pray for the needs of those people and places we know of and pray for all creation as we head for our beds. Amen.

In the presence of the Creator, with Jesus our brother and King and the Holy Spirit (our paraclete) we look at the reflections on the lake that is our day and reflect on the detritus of sin beneath the surface.

As the Lord restores all to its sinless state we take our rest and look to fare better tomorrow.

take us to our beds and sleep that we might rise and make God's love known in us to all we meet tomorrow.

Taking all that the day has been we thank you for all it was we lay it, with thanks,
at Your feet as we head for bed looking towards a new day in which to serve You.
