Journal: Tamworth Hustings
A tad over two years on and we were back in St Editha's church building hosting another Hustings event. There are three candidates - Andrew Hammond, Chris Pincher and Jenny Pinkett - for our constituency and they made a good fist of answering the questions and engaging in debate with those assembled and with each other.

The Tamworth Herald did a sterling job of streaming the event (pity about someone handing me a pastry as we prepared to start session two!) and in all in all it proved to be a worthwhile night.

Congratulations for a good evening. It is good to see the church serving the community and taking the lead in the area of democracy. Pity there were none (or few) of Tamworth's church members present.
Are they too heavenly minded to have an interest in the town and our nations governance?
