A Merry Christmas to us all; God bless us, everyone!

We have a God who makes promises and keep them.  Today the promise of the one whom. Job wishes for (that is someone who can stand between him and God, who knows what the human condition is and understands what it means to be God) and in the birth of Jesus, the Christ, this desire is fulfilled.

The light has come into the world and the darkness cannot, and will never, overcome it.

With the services for Christmas, the Home Communions and all that makes Christmas Day such a blessing done, it's time to sit back and reflect on a year now closing. Of course tomorrow (St Stephen) is another day and there's a wedding blessing to be conducted and more besides (for Church never stops serving does it?).

But I thought I'd pause for a second and wish all who pass by these pages a blessed and joyous Christmas season and a happy new year.

Thank you to all who visit this blog, communicate with me and also at times disagree).
