Another step along the road on our journey towards Pentecost. As day ends we pray for the needs of the world and for those who do not know the love of God made real for them by the resurrection of Jesus, the Christ.

Journeying from the Ascension of Jesus, the Christ, to the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, we pray for those who do not know the love and forgiveness of God that they might find Him. Amen.

Today see us celebrate the completion of Jesus, the Christ's, salivific mission. birth, ministry, rejected and crucified: RISEN and now ASCENDED we await the coming of the paraclete (the Holy Spirit). Alleluia!

Proverbs 16:33 is nodded to here (The lot is cast into the lap, But its every decision is from the LORD).

May the risen Lord Jesus bless us. May he watch over us and renew us as he renews the whole of creation. May our hearts and lives echo his love. Amen.

The words never grow old or dull with time - as we go to our beds we celebrate this mini Easter in the breaking of bread, drinking of wine and the acknowledging of God's love for us. Alleluia!
