The day is done and dusted,
some things mended, some we busted,
we've fallen flat, we've soared on high,
we've had a laugh and also cried,
and as our day has crossed the line,
We thank the Lord that things are fine,
and given to God rather than in the bin:
we praise the Lord we have Compline :-)
