Compline (night prayer) - Tuesday, 25 August 2020

As the day draws to it's end, Lord, we come to you bringing the delights and disasters of the day;
the follies and failings of humanity and the deceit and dodgy dealings of those in power
Weeping at the weakness and deprivation of those dispossessed and marginalised,
we bring it all to your feet this night - with the answered prayer that is Christ.
