The sun has shone and the day has been blessed with the wonders of creation. Lord, we thank You for you gifts and goodness to all created things. Amen.

Going to our beds, we lay the needs of people and places at the foot of the Cross confident God hears and answers our prayers.

The joy of family - earthly and heavenly - brings us with thanks to the end of another day. May we sleep this night and, waking or sleeping, rejoice that we are alive in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.

As the moon shines so brightly in the darkness,
may we shine in the darkness of this world and,
waking tomorrow may we serve,
and if we do not may we rejoice in eternity with Christ. Amen.

As we look towards Lent we examine the day (and ourselves) in preparation for the arduous journey to the Cross.

Lord, may we be found watching and waiting and right in all we done this day and every day of our lives.

Our day reaches its completion and as we reflect and commit all that has been to the Lord we bring our thanks and praise for all that it has been.

That done, entrusting ourselves and all creation into God's hands, we head for bed.
