We each have a responsibility for the working of our salvation in our own lives (i.e. the difference being saved makes to how we live). While it is desirable to have good examples in those who take a leadership role, it is no excuse! We have the ultimate example in Christ, and it is him that we follow.

Perhaps because their leaders neither say it nor do it.
Ain't that the truth!
Can't teach it without doing it but then again that's not always a problem because they don't teach it and so don't have to do it . . .
And so decline continues
