Apparently today is 'Not Ashamed Day'. A day for Christians to stand up and be counted as they 'wear their faith with pride'.
I am sure that those who do will more than likely be labelled as 'zealots' by secularists and yet oddly I find the majority of Christians are much less zealous, extreme and vocal than those self same secular types.
It is against these people that today is aimed, for like many with apparently liberal agendas, those who scream for freedom are often the very people who would remove it from others to satisfy their own attitudes and confirm their own opinions as superior and morally 'right'.
So, let's engage with today and make as stand for Christ and send a message to those who seek to impose a "well-meaning political correctness, multiculturalism" which stands against us and the Gospel.
As a postscript, I see the latest report on "Religious Freedom in the World” from 'Aid to the Church in Need' (ACN) lists Christianity as the world's most persecuted religion with at least 200 million people suffering from discrimination because of their faith.

And how much of that persecution or discrimination actually takes place in the UK? Virtually none, despite what Andrea Williams would like to claim.
