Made me Laugh: Ants merely copying humans

We often talk about animals copying humans (something we call 'aping') and this clip is an amazing example of the way that the rush hour traffic in an India sets the standards for ant life. Don't believe me, take a look at this:


And remarkably there doesn't appear to be a single indicator in evidence throughout.

Having ridden in an auto-rickshaw through that ant pile, I must say that it is both frightening and amazing. The amazing thing is the low number of serious accidents.

Here is the states the slightest fender-bender stops traffic and results in a call to the police and endless letters from lawyers hoping to litigate.

In India they just pick themselves up and carry on.
